Privacy Policy
Last updated 15 August 2026
This policy explains what information Wakali Labs ("we", "us") collects through wakalilabs.com and its associated pages, why we collect it, and what choices you have. It applies to visitors and customers of the public site — our internal tools (CRM, ERP, Helpdesk) are staff-only systems with their own separate access controls and aren't covered here.
Information we collect
Account information
If you create an account, we store your email address and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
Orders
If you make a purchase, we store the details necessary to fulfil it — items, quantities, and order status.
Contact form submissions
If you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide, so we can respond to you.
Technical and usage data
For every page you visit, we automatically log your IP address, the page path, your browser's user-agent string, the HTTP method, and — if you're logged in — your account. We use this to keep the site secure, diagnose problems, and understand which pages are useful. Known bots and crawlers are excluded from this logging.
Bot protection
We use Cloudflare Turnstile on forms like login, signup, and contact to tell human visitors apart from automated abuse. Turnstile processes some technical signals from your browser to do this; see Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you logged in and to protect forms from cross-site attacks (CSRF protection) — the site won't function properly without these.
If you see advertising on our blog (blog.wakalilabs.com), it's served through Google AdSense, which may set its own cookies to deliver and measure ads. These are controlled by Google, not us — see Google's advertising privacy policy for how that data is used, and how to opt out of personalized ads.
How we use your information
We use the information above to operate the site, fulfil orders, respond to enquiries, keep accounts and forms secure against abuse, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the site: Cloudflare (bot protection), and — where ads are shown — Google AdSense. Our infrastructure, including our database and email, is self-hosted by us rather than outsourced to a third party.
Data retention
We keep your information only for as long as it's needed for the purposes described in this policy — for example, account data for as long as your account exists, and order data for as long as needed for accounting and support purposes.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time by contacting us at support@wakalilabs.com.
Security
All traffic to wakalilabs.com is encrypted with TLS. Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing, never in plain text. Access to internal systems is restricted to staff and protected by separate authentication.
Children's privacy
Our site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
